(1) Which specific vehicles does this headliner kit fit?
This kit is made for the 1959 and 1960 4-door hardtop body style of the Cadillac Fleetwood with the front-to-back roof bow configuration (Series 60, Body Style 6029). Note: It does not cover convertible models, two-door models, or hardtops without front-to-back bows.
(2) What variations in stitching or construction should one be aware of for these years?
For early 1959 models the headliner shows 16 rows of stitching, spaced about 3-3/8″ apart.
For late 1959 and 1960 models the headliner uses 17 rows of stitching, with the middle four panels spaced about 2½″ apart and the rest about 3-3/8″ apart. Also, the center roof bow is dropped (i.e., not used) in this installation.
(3) What materials are available and what does the kit include?
The original factory materials—Napped Cotton Cloth and Tier Grain Vinyl—are offered as choices.
If you opt for the full kit (Headliner plus Sun Visors) you get a ready-to-install headliner and sun visors (no sewing required).
If selecting headliner only you receive the headliner—in ready form—and extra matching material to re-cover sun visors and sail panels (acecesory work like sewing would then be needed).
(4) What parts or hardware are not included in the kit?
The kit does not include the roof bows or the chrome mouldings that attach to them. It also does not contain any mounting bars or brackets for the sun visors, and headliner padding is not included. So you will need to have or source those components separately to complete installation.
(5) Does the product include any warranty or shipping/return considerations?
Yes, the product is backed by a 3-year (36-month) manufacturer warranty.
Regarding shipping and returns: some orders qualify for free shipping within the contiguous United States; international orders may incur customs, duties, and shipping costs. If a return is customer-initiated, a 20% restocking fee applies.
