(1) What is this headliner made of, and how is it constructed?
This headliner uses a vacuum-formed ABS plastic shell as its structural base, which resists sagging or warping over time, even under temperature extremes. It is formed at about 320 °F during manufacturing to ensure dimensional stability.
(2) What finish options are available?
Uncovered: You receive the bare ABS shell, ready to be covered, painted, or upholstered according to your preference.
Covered: The headliner comes pre-covered with Foam-Backed Perforated Vinyl, ready to install.
(3) Does the headliner come with installation instructions?
Yes — each headliner includes detailed installation instructions, including special instructions for cutting if used with T-top models. The design uses factory attachment points, making it easier to align and install correctly.
(4) What warranty comes with this headliner?
The ABS plastic substrate is covered by a 3-year (36-month) warranty. The covering material (vinyl) carries a 1-year (12-month) warranty from the manufacturer.
(5) How does this headliner perform compared to traditional foam-backed or board-style liners?
The rigid ABS core offers superior durability and resists common problems like sagging or deformation that foam-backed headliners can suffer over time. Because it is pre-contoured and uses OEM-style mounting points, installation tends to be more straightforward and stable.
